JAPANESE INSPIRED BEEF BROCCOLI STIR FRY

Instructions:

1.   In a medium bowl, combine the marinate ingredients and mix well.

2.  Add in the cut steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes; not exceeding 2 hours. Sprinkle in salt and pepper. Lightly massage the beef until combined. Set aside.

3.  Boil water and placed cut broccoli into pot. Boil until just fork tender on high heat for about three minutes. Drain broccoli and set aside.

4.  In a well oiled frying pan, add in sliced onions and caramelize on low to medium heat for about 10 to 12 minutes. Or until lightly browned, as shown in the video.

5.  Create a well as shown in the video. On a medium-high heat, place the marinated steak into the center of the pan and using a spatula to flatten the meat in the center. Do not stir for a couple of minutes.

5.  Cook on medium to high heat for an additional 3-5 minutes until the steak is fully cooked and combined with the onions. Add in boiled broccoli and mix until well combined.

6.  The stir fry is finished when it has slightly thicken due to the cornstarch and evenly coats the vegetables.

7.  Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve immediately.

Along with my other recent dishes, this is so easy to prepare and comes together in just under 30 minutes!

         Enjoy xx.
