SOY-GINGER CHICKEN

Soy sauce ginger marinade

Marinated chicken thighs

Instructions:

1.       In a bowl, mix sake kasu powder, soy sauce, grated ginger, and cornstarch until well combined. Add in pinch of salt and pepper.

2.      Remove bones from chicken. Add chicken to the seasoning bowl and massage the thighs. Cover and marinate for 20 minutes.

3.      In a well heated pan, add light drizzle of olive oil. The skins have fat so you do not need a lot of oil. If you are using a nonstick pan, omit the olive oil. On a medium – high heat, sear the chicken skin side down for about 3 to 5 minutes until browned. Flip and place lid on. Cook on medium-low for another 10~12 minutes.

I love having this with Hitomebore white rice and best of all it’s done in under 30 minutes!! :)

         Enjoy xx.
